Frogtown

GardenS:

Our next meeting is Monday, September 27. We’ll be talking about Hmong and Asian veggies: How to grow and cook ‘em. See the About/Events page  for details, exact time and location....

Join us! We live and garden in Frogtown, one of Saint Paul, Minnesota’s poorest and richest neighborhoods. We may be poor financially, but we are  rich in history, diversity, children, energy, cuisine, languages and so much more.

Frogtown Gardens’ mission is to make our neighborhood healthier and greener. We meet to share tips about backyard gardening.  In 2010, we’re working to create an urban agriculture demonstration site as part of a future park on an unoccupied parcel of land in the middle of our neighborhood (see the “Frogtown Farm” page for more about that project!)

We strive to protect green spaces and gardens in Frogtown, and we advocate for green and healthy, sustainable development in our community. We dig, plant and weed. We share the joys of urban harvests.

Join us! (Find out how and why on our “About Us/Events” page.)
